Liz Snell awarded the Outstanding Contribution to PR award at PRide.

Awarded in recognition for her continued support and contribution to the PR industry in the SW, the CIPR West of England Committee presented Liz Snell with an award for Outstanding Contribution at the 2007 PRide Awards. It was the first time this special accolade has been awarded to a non PR practitioner, and the first time a recruitment consultant has ever received this award.

Lis Anderson, Chair CIPR West of England, commented: "Thanks to Liz's hard work, tireless enthusiasm and continued support over the years, the committee's activities have gone from strength to strength. She's helped champion many of the region's recognised and well respected initiatives including the Young Communicator Conference, Pride Awards and busy networking programme. All of these initiatives continue to drive both professionalism and membership in the region.

Her commitment to people and ability to forge strong networks and links, which has seen CIPR members benefit personally and professionally from her efforts, is without challenge. People like Liz support the PR industry in the region. Without them it wouldn't be nearly as strong, vibrant or interesting. She's an inspirational person and recognition of her outstanding contribution is thoroughly deserved."
